Over the last 25 years Lance Dixon has served as youth pastor, congregational leader, high school teacher, and college lecturer. Lance has been a consultant and organizer for various non-profit organizations focused on social justice. His most recent role is Global Justice Educator for the Canadian Catholic organization for Development and Peace. Lance is currently a high school chaplain with the Calgary Catholic school district, and teaches students about ethics, faith, and culture in the classroom. He completed graduate programs in theology and education at the University of Toronto, as well as doctoral studies in character formation and leadership at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, under the direction of Dr. Rod Cooper and Dr. Harvey Powers. Lance is an avid cyclist, a basketball coach, enjoys camping and good movies. He lives in Calgary with his wife and three daughters.
